Almena Agri Services, Inc. in Almena, KS is seeking a full-time candidate for Custom Applicator. Our company is a diverse grain elevator that handles grain, provides commercial application of fertilizer and chemicals, agronomy services, and Pioneer Seed products.
Responsibilities:
· Custom application of fertilizer, herbicides, and pesticides.
· Perform routine maintenance and repairs for vehicles and equipment.
· Tender fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides to applicator.
· Record daily application logs.
· Load out and receive chemicals.
· Perform other duties assigned such as assisting grain operations and/or any other area of operation or production as assigned by manager
Requirements:
· Liquid application experience
· Commercial Driver’s License (Class A) (or be able to obtain within 90 days)
· Commercial Applicator License (1A) (or be able to obtain within 90 days)
· Work safely following safety rules, regulations, and PPE requirements.
· Perform physical job duties such as climbing, shoveling, bending, and lifting up to 75 lbs.
· Work weekends and evenings to meet business demands
· Must pass a drug screen
